Welcome!

So much going on in this world,

so many strange things.
It's like some people have lost
all morals and responsibility.

When I said something to my daughter
I was overheard.
I didn't say anything wrong,
but another passenger in the train
constructed her own interpretation
and had a go at me.

For a while the things I wanted to say
to that young woman
stayed witth me.

The last time,
I feel more and more things
are bugging my mind.

Maybe it's time to vent,
discuss, write down.

People who were rather straight forward
used to be clled "a witch' here.
Here, in The Netherlands.
The country of the loud discussions,
noisy and straightforward.
We dare to say our things,
but it's about opinions, 
not about the person as a human being
itself.

Keep that in mind,
when you see the steam curling up
high in the sky,
and hear me giggle,
sigh or shout.

It'll pass..
